I am a mature (that means old enough to know better, but still young enough to do it anyway!) and voluptuous redhead with submissive tendencies and a highly sophisticated brain that sometimes still gets obsessed trying to remember all the words to the Gilligan's Island theme song.
I am a truly fabulous person. I just can't figure out why I'm not rich and famous yet, or why the universe refuses to admit that i am indeed the center of it. Sigh. I have been collared to my master/lover/partner in crime/best friend since 2002. He is polyamorous, while I am merely poly-ish. This means that yes, I am open to having another relationship, but frankly, I just don't have the time or energy. Now, if the right person comes along, that might change… but it would take one hell of a person! I live with a neurotic cat who is in the Witness Protection Program. He has a fetish for leather shoes and bare ankles, and an obsession with squirrels. I'm an artist -- mostly acrylic on canvas, though I experiment with various other media. I'm very proud that four of my paintings adorn the walls at our local club. You can see some of my work in my photos section. I'm also a writer of both vanilla mainstream fiction under another name, and kink/erotica-related books. RED, published by Kensington Press, is a thrilling murder mystery set in the BDSM community, and full of twists that will keep you turning pages way past your bedtime. Reviewers on Amazon and Goodreads have called it "awesome," "hot," and "disturbing." RED is available as an ebook and in paperback from Amazon.com. I have been very involved in my local community since I dove into this lifestyle nearly 14 years ago. I was a guild member for Rose-n-Thorn (Gatherings), Nashville's first continuously-operating dungeon space. I have worked as education director for NLA-Nashville and the Mark. I also do a bit of graphics work for the NCSF, an organization I wholeheartedly support. For many years, I co-presented a seminar to graduate students in social work at a local university, explaining what it is that we do, in hopes that when they are out in the field, making decisions about people's lives, they will be able to separate myth, fear and stereotypes from reality. Recently, I've been working with KinkyCast.com, a new podcast that explores all things kinky. My first two appearances have been as a guest, first talking about my books and erotica in general, and, in the second, discussing the phenomenon of sub-frenzy. I've also had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Gloria Brame, author of Different Loving and one of the pioneers of kinky education; John Baku, the founder of FetLife.com; Laura Antoniou, author and wise woman; and the power couple of porn, Ernest Greene and wife Nina Hartley. Links are conveniently found on the right hand column of this page, but you should go out and just subscribe to KinkyCast, so you won't miss out on a new episode. KinkyCast is totally, fabulously FREE, and you can download it to your computer, your phone or other technological thingamabob. It's easy and entertaining! |
